Franconia Notch State Park  Trails Info The park provides access to many popular trails leading into the National Forest. Trails range from moderate to difficult. Camping is available in the park. Pets are prohibited on the paved multi-use "Franconia Recreational Path" and there are designated dog walk areas at the Tramway and Flume.

Directions: Rte 118  Directions: From 89, take exit 17 (Rt. 4). Follow Rt. 4 east for 12 miles. Bear left to get onto Rt. 118. Turn right at a Cardigan State Park sign and follow the signs to the summit. (Bear right 2.7 miles from Rt. 118; at 3.4 miles bear left; at 4.1 miles you'll be in the parking area.)

Raymond Trail (white blazes) 1.6 mile trail begins on the west side of the mountain on East Mountain Road.  

 

Marion Davis Trail (blue blazes) begins at the Route 101 parking area at the base of the auto road. It climbs 1.4 miles to the summit.
